Craftsmanship

As a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, I am a classically trained musician.  In addition I have over ten years experience as a professional luthier.  Each instrument I make is a unique creation.  I select the wood, sculpt the parts, construct and varnish each instrument using tools and methods developed by master violin makers hundreds of years ago.  When you purchase a Wargaski you receive an instrument that meets the highest performance standards and will continue to do so for generations.  With a Wargaski instrument you are confident of its history and integrity: it is a solid investment.

Over the past 50 years the quality and level of violin making in the United States has risen significantly.  Some even compare it to the ‘Golden Age’ of violin making when Amati, Guarneri and Stradivari created their masterpieces.  If you are considering the purchase of an instrument you should know that older antique instruments, despite their higher price, often come with compromising structural problems and a potential for frequent repair.  A modern Wargaski instrument has none of these problems, and its tonal quality is indiscernable from many older and far more expensive instruments.  Purchasing a Wargaski instrument is a sound investment, as it is sure to appreciate in value.
